I have a 3'x1.5' Tank with a corn snake in it. I cover the tank with one of those screen top covers with the twist close knob. If i put a branch that almost touches the top, will he be able to squeeze through? If so, what should i use to cover the tank,
If you think there is even a possibility of escape then the snake will escape. As far as covering the tank I don't know as I use a melamine enclosure. I'm sure someone who has used tanks before will bw able to provide some input as to what type of lid to use.

corn snakes are miniture david blaines, they can escape almost anything. young corns can even climp the rubber sealent in the corners of fish tanks. Basically, if you doubt your enclosure at all, dont use it or improve it( i know through experience!)
