Well Im all set up outside of hides I may have to buy depending on the size of my new buddy (havent bought him yet). Got the two heating pads hooked up to a rheostat like so many of you guys suggested ( see I listen! ) ambient air fluctuates between 76 and 80 hot spots steady at 92 Ive got a nice big water dish over the heat pad wich is set to low and the humidity is way up there and not falling. Any suggestions? I dont want it too humid.
BP humidity is supposed to be 50-60% when NOT in shed and 60-80% when IN shed.....
First try moving the water bowl off the heating pad more and more to see if that brings the humidity down before you drill more holes. if that don't work try a smaller dish (depends on size of bp you get, you want it to be able to soak if it wants to) and if you cant do the smaller bowel then drill extra holes.....
extra holes are permanet.......can't take those away. lol
