Bummed!

Well, now i know the sex of my two young ones. Yep, Males. But at least i got a nice female this year at a show. I want to buy AT LEAST one more female so they can breed. the males are both cool, but the bright orange and chocolate one is still nutso about being held, and the one that is easy to handle is not as colorful. So i like them both. They are still too small to put with a female. About an inch too small. I am wondering if buying at a show is better or buying online from a breeder.. have any of you had bad luck with either situation? I am willing to pay more for a female.

I personally prefer buying from a show, because I like to see the animal before I buy it, and also because the shows are awesome. But if you know the person you are buying from has a good reputation, it's usually fine. The only tricky part can be if you are meeting them somewhere, because someone may get held up in traffic or something. But both ways usually work well if the person is a reputable dealer.

a show where I can see the animal I won't complain unless there are hidden health problems, quality breeders back their animals so again no complaints.
