New Yellow Ambon retic

I want to say a special thank you to Brandon (burmese python) for helping me get my snake, If it wasn't for Brandon I would still be waiting .

I was not expecting her until tomarow, Unexpectedly I got a call from Air Canada and they said my snake was in.(she didn;t have to wait overnight in Edmonton after all) I was really upset when i got her though, My friend who works at Air Canada cargo gave me the package and she told me it should have never been sent the way it came.
It was a plastic tub about 1' long 8'' wide and 5'' deep. with cheap plastic clamps to hold the lid on . With NO air ventalation.
She was in a pillow case covered in sand and very cold .
I was told to take her out of the bag and make sure she was alive before i paid the shipping charge . When i opened the bag there was no movement , even when i picked her up , I put her into my warm coat and started moving her around and she finaly started to move . I rushed her home and put her into a warm enclosure , watching her closely she is moving around now .I think she will be ok.
I was told by the staff at Air Canada to give the shipper big ***** for shipping the way she did, and yes I will
It took 24 days to get her after i paid in full, Also she wasn't insured because it was to cold out. policy I guess. I would have nothing to be worried about if they would have shipped it on time . Thanks for listening P.S more pics will follow . Keep ya all posted how she does.

Thanks alot Kim , I sure am glad to have here now. Pheeew!
What really choked me off was that the cheap lid could have come off easy enough and she could have been crushed. also she was bound up so tightly that she has creases all over her sides.
I was stupid to have to sighn a wiever to get the snake here but if those damn people would have sent her when i sent the money I would have nothing to worry about .
I opted to take my money back but they wouldn't do that . I told them if the snake dies it was there fault cause' they should have sent it a month ago

Be very careful it doesn't develop a RI. I had the same thing happen with lizards, and because of the cold they were in, they got ri and died a month later.
Crank up the temps a little if you see a sign appear.

Well I just wanted to tell everyone she is doing really well now. I put the temp. up to 88 and she is moving around alot , feeding time is going to be soon. I took her out and started moving her around today,(more like trying to hang on) hahaha. She is quite fast , across my arm down my torso and leg to the floor roaming around the heated room. She has quite the display when she stands up to look around with all the yellow colours she has, She streched across the floor and I got a good measurment of her at about 5'8'' I think Brandon said she was about7 months old so thats not bad for size. My other 7' retic has seen her from his tank and is standing up looking out onto the floor at her , hahaha he looks kind of funny., starring at her on the floor all most like she was food.
I have an electric raidiant heater now that keep the temps in the room from 75 to 95 deg. Iv'e also gotten a humidifier so the room dosn't get too dry along with the sypris mulch in thier tanks.
Anyway i'm very happy with her and so far she is checking out ok
no symtoms of RI and i keep my other retic on the other side of the room from her. Iknow , Iknow please don't bash about the quarintine thing.
just thought i would keep you all updated on her progress.
