Thumbs down getting really aggresive...

okay... i thought he was bad before, but he's worse now. being a complete little assmuch.

i don't understand why... i COOK for him. i CLEAN for him... lol...

tried handling him more, didn't work.
tried handling him less, didn't work.

i even gave him his most favorite kind of veggies...

it's not a hunger issue, he's well fed.

it's not that there's a problem with his home. it's the monopoly boardwalk of lizard lofts.

is it normal for them to go through pissy phases... or am i doing something wrong. i just want my loveable little snuggle bug back.

the natives (my parents) are getting restless (annoyed) with his behavior. they're starting to murmer bad things about him under their breath. which does not bode well for his future with me.

help...

i've had the same problem with my beardy. what i've found helps is try to hand feed them to make them more comfortable around you. and about the handling issue, what worked with mine is endure the thrashing and attempted biting for a few minutes and they do calm down. all it is is a matter of building trust between you and the beardy

It could just be a temporary testosterone poisoning. Sometimes they get a bit obsessed by breeding urges and lose all their manners.
