i am not sure with Canadian money, but in the usa, i got mine for $85 for two, but they were smaller babies, and i did not get to choose the color, i have seen breeders that want $100 for a baby, so it varies. i would look around, and not take the first ones you see. Good luck.

if you are in toronto, you can go to Robert Wong. He sells them for $90. I bought one from him and have been really happy with it and his service. Someone else on here bought one from him as well.. If you are interested, i can give u his contact info. He will be at the sep show as well.

I am in Canadian and I have seen babies from $90 - 400 CDN. Yes $400 at a pet store...crazy. The very first crested I got was $250 because I didn't know any better. I sell my babies from $100 - 125 CDN. I sell my babies at 2 - 3 months. I prefer to sell no earlier then 2 months.
I have 5 available now between 2 - 4 months. If you go to the Canadian Lizard ads they are listed there.
Just be sure that you are buying from a good breeder. Just a tip though.....the cheapest gecko isn't always the best, make sure he or she is healthly, active and not too young. I'm sure you will fine a variety of prices. Just look around and be sure.
Hope that helps,
Liz

Be happy that you even got them for $250! Before people figured out how to breed them, they were much much much more expensive. Same with the Leopard Geckos. Actually, pretty much everything was like that, except maybe Ball Pythons.

$90-200 is a fairly standard price range from a private breeder, depending on colour etc -- reds especially are at the upper end of that range.
If you're in Toronto, I'd make plans to be at the Port Credit show in Mississauga in 2 weeks -- I'm sure that there'll be a few crested babies for sale there, and you'll usually find fairly decent prices at a show...
Hope that helps
Jen

I bought my baby for $90 but I'm sure that you can find one for as low as $75. The designer cresties are much more expensive though.

I got my cresties from Tarzet and Robert Wong. Both are good breeders but Robert has more stock on cresties so you can pick from variety. There were a few tables selling cresties in the July 6th show so I am sure there'll be some available on the coming show. I think both Tarzet and Robert are going to be there too.
