Depends on whether or not deliterious recessive alleles are present in BOTH individuals.

Heh heh ok;

Bad blood x bad blood = bad blood

Bad blood x good blood = bad blood OR good blood

Good blood x good blood = good blood.

Now, the question is, how can you tell what blood is in your Rainbows? Hee hee............

alright from what i gathered where is a nasty recessive gene in brbs. if its present in both parents than i assume the standard would be 25% great (RR) 50% like the parents (Rr) and 25% nasty (rr). what exactly would come of the rr's? still births or mentally handicapped brbs? does this recessive only boil down when kept in the family or is it an ongoing problem in all brbs.
also id need to research to find out their pedigree.

either way im looking to trade one of my babies for another just to get a deeper gene pool. so if anyone wants to trade me just say so, preferably in the orlando area.

thanks guys
