Finding papers

I have seen poeple saying look at this paper for this and have tried looking for all these "papers". My problem is i have no idea how/where to find them. I try book stores and i get some pretty starnge looks, and the internet just tells me nothing.

So, how do i go abouts finding these things? Use this one as an example.

Hi Kyle,

Good question. Most of "these papers" are in herpetological newsltters, i.e. IRBA Monitor, article. The Zoo Biology is a journal and most of these can be found at your local university library.

I search all over the World for articles on monitor lizards, and many of the Natural History Museums and Big City Nature Museums also have libraries, usually restricted, but you can gain entrance to them quite easily and xerox to your hearts content, which I done, and like I said is quite easy to do.

Also, all of the papers I cite in a post, Ive got here in my home, in my files, so that is also an option, providing your willing to pay for xerox, postage costs, etc...again, that is easy.
