What body part is best to feed?

A new meat store just opened close to where i live. They only do sheep, pig, and cow, but they sell EVERY part imaginable. So what are some really healthy body parts of any of these animals? It will be for treats for my sav. I am going to pick up some beaf heart today, any other good itmes, that have really good nutrience?

Thanks,
Kyle

Hi Kyle,
How about some wax worms, crickets, grasshoppers, katydids, locusts? I don't believe they eat much pig, cow or sheep in Africa, and besides, these meat parts have way to much fat and protein in them, which can literally give your savannah one hell of a belly ache! It may not be able to digest all of it, as it has a make up very different from insects....but I will take a sirloin!
good luck,
mbayless

LOL. I do already give it many varieties of insects, and the odd hairless rat. I mainly feed him earthworms, crix, grasshoppers, mealworm beetles (he goes NUTS for em), some wax worms but not many, and a pink rat every week or two. Just thought i could add a little something different. Thanks for the reply.
