what kind of snake is this?

This little guy was hanging out in my yard today getting some sun. Id say about 2-2 1/2 feet long and maybe like an inch diameter. I live in Boston so I thought it was pretty weird to see a snake like this. It ended up going into a hole in the side of my house.

That looks like a corn snake. Maybe an escapee pet?

Yeah, it's a Striped Corn Snake. An escaped or dumped pet. It was ID'd on a Facebook group yesterday, within minutes of being posted. Facebook is a much faster way to get an ID lol.
