Is it safe?

So I had a piece of driftwood on rock that got mold due to high humidity. It was removed and bagged and has been for the past year. Is it safe for aquarium use? I can bleach it etc. I freaked out and removed it and took it out of the room. It wasn't much use functionally in the terrarium but in a fish tank it would be a nice center piece.

Not safe, the mold will spread to the fish and they'll all be fuzzy... lol. Seriously though, it should be fine. I've seen several different types of fungus grow on wood in aquariums, never bothered the fish a bit. If you have a bristlenose pleco in the tank he/she will likely eat the mold right off the wood if any does turn up.

Should be OK. Most people freak out too much about mold. Only certain spores are harmful. Most are just an eyesore.
