Blizzard no, Whiteout YES!

I found a white snake It's a Whiteout corn snake. I go get it Sat, can't wait!
And it's in IL so I get a little 3 hr road trip. I just happened to see an ad on kingsnake site. He didn't have them listed but I thought I would ask if he had any Blizzards. Nope but he said he did have 2 white outs. He is keeping one and selling the other, and I'm getting the other

Re: Blizzard no, Whiteout YES!

Congrats on the new addition. I've never heard of, or seen, a whiteout corn before today. There are some gorgeous images on Google. Hope you'll share pics.

LOLOL! I didn't even think of that..but I guess I am!
You really made me laugh out loud with your post Sylphie lolol.

I'll post pics when I get him/her, I will ask the breeder what sex it is when I get there. I'm sure it will be just a pink little worm looking thing, it is from this year hatching.

I have been searching for a white snake, and after looking for what seemed like forever at different snakes, I found out there are a few that can stay white. Blizzards and Whiteouts are only a couple of them.

So many pretty snakes out there of all different breeds! I found one by accident just browsing, it was called a Pied Persian rat snake. You gotta look it up, it's REALLY pretty!!!

Re: Blizzard no, Whiteout YES!

Pied snakes of any species are pretty rare, and priced accordingly IF you can find one available. I've been semi-drooling over pics of BEL's of several different species. Red eyes just don't appeal to me, but a white snake with dark eyes does.

I picked up a bel black rat snake a few months ago and she has quickly become my favorite snake. Not only is she beyond cute, but she is almost always out exploring her enclosure. She is a little feisty but at this point it is pretty adorable, and she is getting better daily. I really don't think I have anything bad to say about this snake.

Re: Blizzard no, Whiteout YES!

Whew a looong drive. Our Garmin (GPS) was drinking or something. What was suppose to be a 3 and 1/2 hour drive tuned into a 5 hr drive lolol. But we got there and back, with my new baby. I have photos and will get them posted. Most didn't turn out well I didn't want to disturb her anymore than she already was. Wanted to get her into her little home to rest

Oops another snake made it's way home with me too rotfl.

Re: Blizzard no, Whiteout YES! Pics

Well here she is I can see a white pattern on her so not sure how white...white she will be when she grows, I'm happy with her . She is so freaking cute lol. Kinda bad pics but I'll get more later after she settles in. I do know this one is a girl, the breeder told me. Which by the way is a very nice guy. He was giving me a tour of his snakes.

Re: Blizzard no, Whiteout YES!

Pogie, cute little worm! And don't worry she'll be white as adult, although can develop some yellow here and there (mine is recently having a little yellow stripes on her cheeks, really cute).
