Windex Spray Bottle?

Hey guys,
Would it be OK if I cleaned out a windex bottle (very thoroughly) and then used it as a spray bottle (for keeping humidity up)? Thanks, Cameron

Re: Windex Spray Bottle?

Why not? As you said you just need to get rid of all the windex. I'd run it under dish washing soap and some hot water a few times.

Re: Windex Spray Bottle?

Alright, I decided I'm just going to buy one, they are only like 99c. I'm sure it would be fine, but I read that sometimes the chemicals can seep into the plastic and I wouldn't want to get some in his water bowl. Thanks anyways,
Cameron

Yeah that's a good choice. It would be fine as long as you cleaned it out, but why risk it when they are so cheap.

Re: Windex Spray Bottle?

I use a cheapo I got from the dollar store.
You have to wonder though...if the chemicals in the cheap chinese plastic might have something worse left over than the chemicals in the windex :\
