My new Albino Rosy Boa
I went to The All Maryland Reptile show today and I was very, very disappointed, It was a very small show and very Ball Python heavy, not much out of the ordinary other than a 15Ft Green Anaconda which was amazing to see, but on my way home I decided to stop and see my friends at my local Mom and Pop Pet Store and I picked up a gorgeous Albino Rosy Boa, was love at first sight.
I apologize for the poor lighting so the color doesn't match on these photos, but shes pretty much between the two in color.

Re: My new Albino Rosy Boa
Good Morning and Merry Christmas everyone,
as I'm a new "Boa" owner I have a couple questions about my new Rosy Boa "Pippi"
I cant believe how gentle she is, she never sleeps, I mean never. I have her in my bedroom and she's go, go, go all night and all day, in fact she's up now.
Common for a Rosy?
Also, she does NOT coil at all, I just assumed that because shes a Boa that she would coil, never. I know they love to squeeze in tight crevices but no coiling even when held.
Is this common for a Rosy?

Re: My new Albino Rosy Boa
OMG, I put an old knit cap in Pippi's enclosure today and she loves it.
I leave the screen off on purpose when I want her to come out, I'm always watching very carefully when I do it.

Re: My new Albino Rosy Boa
I changed Pippi's substrate to Aspen, she's burrowed in ever since but I saw this tonight and thought it was cute and worth the pictures. (2 Pictures)

Re: My new Albino Rosy Boa
Pippi loves coming out, I swear she wags her tail like a dog when I open her enclosure.
She's almost at 25 grams already
