this is just plain STUPIDITY!
I was watching one of those "real tv" type shows yesterday, and they showed this dude taking his boa skydiving from 10 000 feet!!!! the poor snake was just waving uncontrollably as it fell to earth... and the stupid tv show actually aired it! can you believe this crap????????

OMG!!! I would slap that person silly, what a freakin' moron!
What the heck was the point of it??? I can't believe someone would put a snake through that... Poor thing must have been freaking out...
I would make that guy jump again without his parachute for pulling a stupid stunt like that.

I have heard more on this on an earlier thread. I heard it was a media contest of sorts, and the idiot in question was a hot keeper and the snake was a viper of sorts, which is why he held the animal tightly around the base of the head in order to not get bitten. The contest organisers disqualified him citing the obvious cruelty to the snake.
...Or so I heard.

They should have done a lot more than just disqualify him!! At least they acknoledge it was cruelty to animals.

yes, gary, i also posted something on this. The guy was trying to win a contest so he taped the radiostation logo on his helmet and took the poisenous snake sky diving, but as gary said he got disqualified because he was being to cruel to the animal. Pretty big dumbass eh? as i said before to bad he didnt get bitten!

Asides the fact there are no poisonus snakes to our knowledge.. It was a boa, according to the topic poster.. So uhh, being bitten would of just put holes into the body.. Xain

Jump out of a plane as often as you want, but leave your snake at home!
