Eyespy: your the first to realize that, we also called our leo Amethyst.

One question to all you our there. I have heard once he starts eatting vegs I should remove the fake plants cause he might start eatting them. Has anyone seen this or what real plants could I stick in that they dont eat?

Thanks for all the complements.

A fried of mine had her beardie eat a large plastic leaf off a fake plant and became fatally impacted. I have fake plants in my beardie enclosure but he is very well fed so has no reason to try to eat fakes.

Aloe plants are safe to eat, as are prickly pear cactus, spider plants, pothos, and philodenderon. If you're going to put real plants in there make sure you repot them in pumice-free and fertilizer-free soil, and saturate the soil and roots at least twice (once a week for two weeks) before putting it in there. That will help wash out any fertilizers or pesticides that may have been used at the store.

Careful with cactus, the spiney ones are dangerous but beardies will eat them anyway.
