Unhappy Mouser BP

That's it, I've given up. Aside from force feeding the snake (which I do not have the experience to do) my BP has won the hunger strike games. I've tried everything to switch her to rats (scenting, leaving the prey in there, ect) and did succeed for two feedings, but now she won't take them. It has gotten to the point where I've thrown in the flag due to the amount of weight she had lost.
Now my question is, how many adult mice should she get and how often? She's currently a bit over a 1,000 grams. Should I go with 10% her body weight in mice? And how should I spread out her meal?
I've done a bit of looking into it but would like the opinions of those on here. Thanks!

Re: Mouser BP

I'd just begin feeding a single adult mouse. Next feed try two. Some snakes won't eat consecutive meals no mater how small so just get the snake eating. Space them out 7 days a part.

Re: Mouser BP

I've already got her eating. Will one be enough for her then?

Re: Mouser BP

If she's losing weight, or was, then I'd keep her on mice until she's eating regularly. Once she's packed on some weight and is back to her previous weight it won't hurt to try rats again. But ultimately it's your call. She'll be fine forever on mice, it's just less convenient and more money.

There's no problem with feeding multiple prey items. I would shoot for that 10% range weekly if it were me.

Re: Mouser BP

If available try asf. You can get far larger adults compared to mice so it will be better suited long term.
