Using Different Scents In Snake Enclosures

Hey Herps,

I wanted to know if it might be beneficial to put a small piece of my clothing in a tiny zip lock container with a few small holes in my Corn Snake enclosure? Would it help him identify my scent with safety?

I got this idea after reading another forum post saying using different scents can promote you corn snake to explore around their enclosures more.

I wanted to get your opinions!

Re: Using Different Scents In Snake Enclosures

I think it can work but a scent is not the whole identifying system of a snake.

I don't see the point. The snake is equally likely to move around in it's enclosure regardless of scent.
