I was keeping him in a Rubbermaid that was 2' long x 18" wide with a substrate of cypress bedding. I had a UVB bulb over half of the tub as well as a basking lamp that gave a basking spot of 90-95...

Re: Baby Ball problems eating.

As I'm sure you are aware of, Balls are notorious for being poor feeders. However, as the others have said, in your case the feeding response does seem to be present. You are correct on the prey...

Re: Just wanted to share

That's a very nicely patterned boa you have there. Enjoy it at that size while you can because soon enough it will be wrapping its tail around your arm to hold on instead of your finger lol.

Re: I made the worst decision ever.

Re: How Can You Tell?

I have to agree completely with Mark on this one as well. Way too often do I hear people talking about their "pet" snakes as though they were puppies. Don't get me wrong, I love interacting with my...

Re: Snake Subtrate

I used to use Repti-Bark but then tried newspaper and found that I like it much better. Sure it's not the most visually appealing substrate, but it's cheap, readily available, and easy to clean.
