Re: Oook where do I have to go to legally own a paleosuchus palpebrosus? (dwarf caima

Also his breaking the law makes it harder for others to legally own animals and easier for governments to create tougher restrictions

As long as your temps are right the snake will do what is right.

Re: custom snake enclosure

Two foot isn't a big enough viv for either snake IMO. I would want the corn to have at least three feet and the ball python four feet.

Re: Namira Enclosure and Feeding

Why don't you have a proper substrate? How can the snake burrow? There really should be a warm and a cold hide too. Do you manage to keep humidity up without substrate?

Re: Enclosure and cleaning question

Why just bedding on one side? Corns are burrowing snakes, give it 2-3 inches of substrate throughout the WHOLE tank and it will be a much happier snake.

Re: Awesome experience today

Am aiming for Emperors like the one in the picture, have heard that they are relatively easy to look after and should the worst happen the sting isn't too toxic!

Awesome experience today

We went to our local safari park today and they usually have either a snake or Lizard or spider out that can be handled. Today they had this beautiful six year old girl.

Re: Carpet or Ball?

With a well sealed enclosure our ball only needed to be sprayed once a week, and slightly more during shed.

They should be kept at 60-70% normally and then upped to 75%+ during shed.

How can there be no difference between a 6sq ft tank with no possible hope of escape and the infinity of the great outdoors? Even your example of a barn is ridiculous, how many barns are the same...
