Re: Strange scales on new Carpet

I got an appointment with the vet. They didn't seem too concerned as they didn't give me an appointment right away so I'm hoping that is a good sign. I got him a thermometer/hydrometer and I was...

I'll try to get a better pic later this week. I'll have to get a new battery for my camera. I hope it is nothing serious :-/

Re: Strange scales on new Carpet

He wasn't a breeder. I'm not sure where he got the little guy but I know the post was up for about 2 months... His temps feel too hot to ME but I'm not a snake and I can't tell you by feel what the...

I picked this little guy up yesterday from a guy in Fl. The guy said he is a 6 month old. When I picked him up I didn't notice anything off then, on the drive back home, and this morning I noticed...

Re: New Addition - Bearded Dragon

When mine sheds it comes off in flakes, not a single "sheet" like a snake. It freaked me out the first time I saw her do it because I was so use to my snakes :) I've never really timed how long it...

Re: I can't decide what I want!

I have a Fl. King and he is great. Even when he is hungry he has never tried to strike ME. He's fast, way faster than my BP usually is, but he's never been nippy.

Re: What to get next?

I agree with this. It took me a year to find the snake I really wanted, a BRB, and I lucked into it at my local reptile store! Find what kind of snake/reptile you really like and hold out for that...

He wants to do fish and has some in mind: Humupicasso Trigger fish, Foxface Lo, Bicolored Dottyback, and eventually maybe a Porcupine Puffer and I'm sure they require a large tank. We asked at our...
