to that point,, it would be super cool to design the decor kinda with that theme, maybe make a gecko safe telephone, and then make it look like an abandoned, overgrown telephone booth!!

If he's eating and passing right you can avoid the vet, just keep a close eye out for RIs. They're often cause by temperature swings. You also want to be careful how quickly you heat up a snake,...

You definitely want that UTH, as boas use belly heat to digest their food. As for the other stuff.... I'm not experienced enough to give an opinion :laugh:

you could try ceramic heat emitters. you can pick them up pretty cheap on walmart.com and they wont mess with your animals day and night cycles, cause they don't put off light, just heat. you can get...
