Re: New Cal king poster

Awesome. Love stuff like this. Think it should be "naturally" and "selectively," but otherwise very clean.

Re: Tiger!

Thanks guys.
I'll have to get some outside shots in the near future. Can't wait for this guy to keep growing. The responsiveness and awareness is unlike most other snake species I have owned.

Re: walking with snake on you

In addition to stress and liability, what about people passing by with pets? Or even a squirrel or rabbit wandering by? Wouldn't want a feeding response triggered.

Re: Is a supertank possible?

I have seen some impressive Emerald tree boa/ dart frog combos at the national aquarium. Probably not what you're looking for, but it is a very cool biotope with live plants.

Re: BCC or BCI

BCC are "True red tails." They are generally larger.

BCI tend to be smaller, and this species is where you will find several morphs. BCI are much more common.

Re: New Burmese python enclosure (need help)

I am sure he is building an enclosure to house an adult burmese. It is common practice for people to build enclosures for giant snakes that they won't outgrow.

Re: Cute snake on a branch

This species is pretty much the most beautiful to me. One of the few that beats some of the hots IMO.

Re: ever wonder how big a pure dwarf retic gets?

Jampea is the largest of the "true dwarfs," Some of the other dwarf localities typically stay smaller, but it can be hard to know what you are getting when you purchase a "dwarf"
