Drawings

Well, I thought I may as well show you some of the drawings I've done. I use graphite, and realism-type is really all I know how to do right now lol.

This was my first attempt at a human, John Glenn

My green tree frog

A gift for the person that was holding the bird

A gift for my aunt and uncle

My first graphite, and my favorite chicken, Minnie (she lived to be 13!)

Re: Drawings

These are interesting drawings. But is that Glenn's hand in the drawing of him, or someone else's? It doesn't appear connected to the rest of his body, but perhaps the rest of his arm is hidden.

Re: Drawings

Ah, it is is hand. My paper wasn't wide enough to fit the entire drawing.

I should also mention that I work from photographs, and everything except for the Glenn is my photography as well. (I don't sell my work or anything so I wasn't worried about borrowing someone's photo to work from, although I should mention his name if I can find the original again... I'm having trouble finding it for some reason, despite the fact that I thought it was fairly famous.)

Re: Drawings

Thank you! The skin texture and bark were really hard to do.

Re: Drawings

Love your drawings! I paint in encaustic medium and am looking for some good snake pictures to do.

I'd love to see your art as well. Art is just so cool, I love that there are so many types.
