My 3 week old bcc

My 3 week old ate a sheet of paper towel while I was feeding her. Should I be concerned or how can I help her pass it

Maybe I'm wrong here but wouldn't that require a vet? Was it a whole sheet? I remember seeing images of snakes dying after doing so. I would think your best hope is that he regurgitates it.

Re: My 3 week old bcc

I agree with Daniel, I've seen where the paper towel becomes an impaction and causes the snake to die of sepsis. I would be very interested in getting that paper towel out safely.

I assume that you fed the rat on top of a paper towel because people on YouTube/Facebook did it? For reference, the paper towel is used for a better quality video, not because it is safe or healthy for the snake. I'd you don't want to lay the rat directly on the dirt/mulch/aspen then paper plates, pieces of slate, would be the way to go.
