Re: are Snakes really silent?

My coastal female chuffs/wheezes when handled. Just when handled. Always has. No RI and I've had her checked twice.

Re: Input from Northern US & Canadian owners please

Heating your home drys the air out. I find myself misting more often in the winter months. However, this greatly depends on your enclosures.

Re: New Centralian Carpet Python/ Mites!

Hope all is going well. You got a good deal at the vet. I'm not saying $150 isn't a good chunk of change just that its a steal . Our water dragon cost us over $900. Hooray for Care Credit.

Re: Woma pythons

Their faces have always weirded me out. Held a few and they are super docile, or so my experience has been. Neat animal but I don't know if I'll ever be getting one.

Re: What snakes to find in Nyack, NY??

There are lots of herps in Fahnstock State Park. Wear boots if you are going off the beaten path as I've seen quite a few copperheads there.

Re: Question about Northern Water Snakes

They are cool little snakes. Last one I caught was a few years ago and it went into a helicopter spin while musking. Not fun but definitely funny. I generally just observe these days. Herping here...

Re: White Plains Reptile Expo (Morelia heavy)
