Re: Savannah - swore behind back leg?

What do you mean by "vent" mate? I've took another but it's really hard because of the position that he's in. Is that picture any better?

Re: Ambient Air Temperature Control?

That's a good idea Disco Pat, and halogen flood lights are fairly cheap :) and you also picked up a good point about the insulation. That 6ft I sold is standard wood, no insulation as many vivariums...

Re: Ambient Air Temperature Control?

Yes that's fairly true, however over here we do get fairly cold temperatures, and it would depend on whether or not they keep the heating on. I think it would be safer however to use a bulb and...

Re: Ambient Air Temperature Control?

Thanks for your reply infernalis, I honestly though the bank of halogen flood lights wouldn't make a difference concidering the size. And plus yours is insulated really good, so you have a much...

Smile Re: Ceramic broke, flood light problem.

Hi all,

After reading one of the posts it made sense that I should use more than one bulb. So I've popped two bulbs on strictly because that's the most I can fit in the bulb cage protector. The...

Re: Ceramic broke, flood light problem.

Infernalis said any 25 to 50w halogen bulbs should do the trick and I know a few other people who use halogen flood bulbs instead of ceramic heat emitters. My ceramic pumped out a shed load of hear...

Re: Mr Rex, Fussy Eater when it comes to Rats.

Re: Mr Rex, Fussy Eater when it comes to Rats.
