Re: New Baby BRB

Re: Need some advice please (red tailed boa)

Obviously we can’t rule out environmental...

Re: B&W G.kuroiwae cave gecko update

I had an incident a few years ago when a male bit the females tail...

Re: New Baby BRB

Well I usually keep it that high for about 6-9 months while they’re still young and then drop down slightly to 80% ish slowly.... I’m sure others do it differently tho, as I’ve only had the 2 brbs...

Re: New Baby BRB

They will burrow under the substrate for security... make sure there’s lots of ground cover in the viv with hides, branches, fake plants etc... They’re a shy species in general and will usually feed...

Re: New BRB.

Congrats on getting a brb, you won’t be disappointed at all...

I’ll try not to go over points already made, but I do want to reiterate about them being a shy species. Offer lots of cover inside...

Re: Going BioActive

Firstly, I’d go with both springtails and isopods too as they will both get to work quite well and even if the frogs eat the isopods the springs should pick up the slack...

As for the bio drain...

Re: Needing some information please

Sorry I can’t help on the specific temps for Capet pythons unfortunately, they’re not...

No id say...

Re: Are keepers underfeeding their snakes?

Unfortunately it's happening more and more..... As has been said, people are now advising to "maintenance feed" giants to keep them smaller. Disgusting behaviour in my opinion but it's the same...

I had a friend lose a corn for about 6 months, it...

Re: Snake on the loose

Think it's something we all dread tbh.... once they're out it must be like a needle in a haystack.. Unless you lose a retic, should be easy enough to find an adult lmao :D

8 years so far with not a single escapee, also no mites either...

I'm careful with long periods of quarantine and have never left a viv open or set any up with any gaps to escape... Most people...
