Step three. Fill in the blanks

http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/da...llery3-med.jpg

1 Select the gallery you want the pic to be in.
2 Select the photo you want. If you hit Browse you can search through your hard drive for the picture.
3 Give the picture a title
4 Enter key words so people doing a search can find your pic. Example, if you had a ball python pic you might want to use "ball royal regius python"
5 Enter a description of the photo, ie."Natasha sucking down a rat"
6 Do you want to be emailed if some one comments on the pic?
7 Last step, click submit.

This is what the page looks like all filled in.

After you click submit the picture will upload and it will be in your gallery.

Very good thread! :) Thanks Lisa!

No problem. I noticed a few people confused on how to do it so I thought I would use my gallery to show other people how to use the gallery. There's bigger pics in my gallery for those that would like to see them.

Now whats wrong if i do everything like you said and when the next screen comes up after i hit submit it tells me my photo exceeds 250kb or something. where would i go to "shrink" my photo so it would fit onto my gallery?

Lisa 04-02-03 05:50 PM

That would mean you're out of space in your gallery... there are a few things you can do 1) upgrade your photo hosting account. 2) remove a few pics from your gallery preventing people from ever seeing them again. 3) resize the photo with photo editing software to something smaller.

error message when attempting to upload

I am getting this error message when attempting to upload photos. The image is 250k and I have 500k available space.

Error creating resized medium image! Error code: 1
Command attempted: /usr/local/bin/mogrify -format jpg -geometry 600x600 /home/virtual/site2/fst/var/www/html/photopost/data/500/695imag0006-med.jpg

Any help appreciated

I'm having the same problem with not having enough space. How do i upgrade my photo hosting account? Or how do i delete pictures i already have on there?

Matt_K 07-29-03 11:46 AM

Pookie: If you want to update your photo account, just simply send an email to Admin@ssnakess.com Jeff will gladly explain everything to you. Also, if you want to delete a picture from your gallery, just open the picture you want and scroll down to the bottom of the picture, you will see a delete feature. Hope this helped.. :D

i am having trouble uploading from my paperport file(scanner-no digital camera) any advice?

Lisa 10-26-03 10:52 AM

Bytheshore1: other then suggesting that you save the file as a jpg, gif or png I don't have any other suggestions. You may need a third party program to convert from the format paperport uses to one of the ones I mentioned.
