Hey everyone:) I have just gained access to post photos, and do so i will!

Here are my Dumerils boas,

They came to me originally, because i purchased a male Baby off of a guy, and quickly loved him, i kept in touch with said breeder and 2 months after picking him up, i was offered his parents:)

Of course i took it.. lol

Note: the photos i am posting (unless i specify otherwise) belong to the breeder, his camera caught what mine could not.

anyhow. here is my baby male

Very beautiful snakes c:
I have always admired Dums from afar.
Never had any desire to own one myself, but I do enjoy looking at them. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for the kind words:) In my opinion, by far my favorite snake thus far.
Very calm, no feeding issues, good size, and if you tap them with the hook to get rid of food response, no cage aggression what so ever.

Not a bad thing to say personally:)

if i don't tap my female dum with a hook to break the feeding response she will bite the hell out of me lol. she's fine to pick up after you break the response.

My female is the same way, she is fed biweekly. and she scares the crap out of me everytime it isnt her week.. by lunging at the side of her enclosure.

Their bite is so strong, sounds like a shotgun hitting the side of a cage..
An actual bite is one thing i prey never happens. my nicaraguans and balls, dont even phase me, i think she may break a bone, or cause the need for stitching, thank god theyre tame. lol

yeah lol. when my ball strikes a rat its weak but when my small female dum grabs them its like WHAM. the male dum is almost 6 ft and i just set huge f/t in his tank and he eats them.

Yet when no food present they are the calmest snakes around... hmm, so odd, not complaining though!:)

my girl is on edge and hungry even when there is no food present lol. she is just growing like crazy and is often dug under the substrate ambush hunting.

Gorgeous Dums. My male is just over 5' right now, but I'm hoping he breaks 6' before he's done growing.
