so i am curious about my dums. she is always under the substrate. i may have made it too deep. its about 2 inches thick maybe thicker.
when she goes poop will she go underground or on top? curious to see if i need to dig in there or not.

my female dum burrows when she's hungry and is in ambush mode but she has never pooped under the surface. when she's not hunting she's almost always on top of the substrate.

she's probably hungry ;)
take a picture next time she's eating so i can see how big the prey items are. mine was maybe a TINY bit bigger than yours when i got her and i IMMEDIATELY switched her over to small rats. now she's eating 2 medium eats per feed and being a hungry pig still.

Ive been trying to feed her. She wont take it. I have med mice for her. Shes 130 grams. Weighed her the other day. She was on frozen but the dumb lady gave her a live before i picked her up. Now i have to try and get her to eat frozen again. I tried last night and didnt take it. Im going to try again next friday and see what happens.

worst comes to worst you just wait til she gets hungry enough to eat whatever you put in front of her. they won't starve to death if they have another option ;)
