So I have just recently acquired a central american boa from a very reputable dealer in Miami FL. He is a little over a year old. The snake arrived here early friday and I immediately put him into his aquarium setup. The setup is being kept at between 60% and 70% humidity and temperature in the basking spot at around 88-92 degrees. He seems to be doing just fine and I have only taken him out twice for a few minutes while he is settle in.

Well last night I went out to hang out with some friends and came home at about 3am. He was just hanging out in his cage and was acting pretty normal. I looked under his favorite hiding space and he had taken his first poo. YAY! lol. It looked completely normal and I didn't think much about it.

Then I looked about half way in the middle of his cage and found a very strange yellow, white, and green mass. I don't have a clue what it is and don't believe it to be a regurgitation. I've attached a picture of it below. Unfortunately I can't get him into a vet today as its sunday. Not sure if I should be worried about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm kind of slightly freaking out here right now.

Thanks,

Sir Pluto

Yeah after all my research when i first got a snake, nothing actually showed me what the pee would *look* like...and that's it!

always call it "urates" when referring to snake pee..don't call it pee, or poo, or you'll get all corrected by the oldies =P
lol

Ok good to know. Yeah everything I read never mentioned anything about them. Saw lots of "poo" pictures but none of these urates. Good to know!

Also just had our first feeding and everything went perfectly. He's back in his cage digesting. Now I just have to work on this little temper thing of his. lol. He's still a bit snappy sometimes.
