My boa hasn't ate in two weeks! And its almost been three now.
I've been waiting it out and Im just getting more and more nervous! I feed her pre killed and shes never had a problem. I've tried live, in her cage, in her feeding tank, and I'm getting worried.
The last mouse she are was prekilled. I bought it frozen but it was covered in pee and poop. So I washed it in warm water and I looked and blood came out of its nose. I called a vet and they said it was fine to feed to her. But now she wont eat and shes had like the runs. I haven't taken her to the very because I haven't had money. But now I'm willing to do what ever I can...Idk I just would like some help.
Please don't say hurtful things. If I did something wrong. I just want some opinions on what I should do.

Not much of a boa guy myself.... but I could say maybe the husbandry is off a not, or maybe she just isn't Hungary..... 3 weeks for a snake not eating isn't nothing big, or anything to worry about....
You could try ans brain the mouse/rat... which is gross but worked to get one of my royals eating after about 8 months.... just use a clean/ sterilized knife and split the skull a little bit...
I'm sure someone with a little more experience than me.... pics of set ups may help too.
Also wanted to add that you bought frozen thawed, if it come frozen... pre killed Is when you buy live and kill it right before you feed. I have to do this with 1 of my snakes...... its a pain, but I think better than feeding and risking live rats.

Step back and calm down. A healthy snake can go months with out food. No need to stress out. What is her set up like? ( heat, humidity, hides) Give us pictures and any details that you can. A lot of snakes will go off feed for a while in the winter due to the colder weather. If everything is set up right just keep offering f/t once every 2 weeks sooner or later she will eat again.

this
also what age is your boa ?
they can also go off feeding, coming up to and during breeding season
only offer food once every 7 days, offering food too many times can stress a snake out and stop it eating
also if you could please let the boa keepers on here,your...
hot end temperatures
cool end temperatures
if possible, posting a picture of your tank set up would also help
please don't worry about how long it's not ate for...
i've had a hatchling go 10 months before it ate, with no health issues
i have snakes i only feed 6 months of the year, with no issues
i only feed my snakes 3 or 4 times in the winter, with no health issues (it's Carpet Pythons i keep)
cheers shaun

First and for most is what age is this boa.
Secondly describe your usual feeding methods.
Finally a picture of your set up with hot and cool temps would be great.
Now how often have you tries feeding it? You said you tried at least four different ways in less than three weeks. If you try feeding a snake to often it will get stressed and refuse food.

If she has the runs get her to a vet ASAP I lost a suriname boa to the same problem because I waited to long to take her to the vet it was a bacterial infection in the gut
