Black Betty Active Today

I noticed Black Betty has been quite active this afternoon. She's checking out everything and then moving from one end of the Neodesha to the other. Normally, she's sleeping this time of the day so I took advantage of that opportunity to take more pics of her. I would've taken even more but my phone died so now it's on the charger. Anyway, these pics are what I could get of her.

My Dumeril been super active during the day for about two weeks. Man she looks good. Are those puppy pads on the bottom of the cage? If so how well do they work.

Funny thing is none of my other Dums are active like this in the afternoon. I almost want to pull Betty out to handle her but its really close to my bed time right now.

As far as the pads are concerned, Rmf gave me a bunch of hospital pads (at least thats what I think they are). They work great. Makes for much easier cleaning than newspaper.

That enclosure makes her look smaller than I know she actually is! lol She has a nice home to roam a bit in :D

I actually use puppy pads on occasion. I use them to help absorb any liquids and keep them dryer. I don't like the idea of my girls laying in water for a really long period of time. So when I know I'm not going to be able to check on them regularly, I put the pads under their newspaper to absorb urine or water in case they spill their water.

I took more pics last night and will post them tonight after everyone gets fed. In the meantime, as soon as I get home, I think I will take her out in the back yard to play for a while. More photo ops for me including the deck rail shot. ;)

After my phone was charged up a few hours later, She was still moving around so I got a few more shots of her in motion. These pics were taken just a few minutes of each other.

This just happened today right after I got home from work. Im thinking that railing is the one constant with the dufferent snakes that I've been taking pics of outside.
