diamond x jungle question.

Im curious about people experiences of the sizes that their diamond jungles have reached. I know its on a snake by snake basis but what can I expect the size to be? I got mine in march at about 18months old. Now its (I say it cause its unsexed) about 4.5'. Its in a 4'x2'x3' enclosure

That size cage should work perfected.
Being it has Diamond in it it could hit 10 feet. The cross seem to get a little bigger. I have a 75% Diamond x 25% Jungle that's a '09 she right around 6.5 plus feet. I also have a 8.5 Jungle carpet that's almost 12 years old. A little over 2 feet different in length but my Jungle is easily twice the girth. Diamonds tend to stay on the slender side.

imo it will be determined by,the amount of influence,the Diamonds genetics have played in your snake

to look at my Black and White Diamond Jungle as a hatchling,imo you would never have thought body shape wise,that there was much,if any Diamond influence,yet now at 4 years of age,her body looks like that of a Diamond

my Black and White Diamond Jungle is the longest Carpet i keep,she's around the 7 to 8 feet mark now,at 4 years of age (i've never measured a snake,will try and measure her mate)

she's a,long,slender,lean,muscular,snake,imo body wise she is very Diamond like in shape

her head on the other hand,is just like other Carpet head shapes,she does NOT have,imo that very distinct Diamond shaped mouth and head

its quite a dark picture,but from what i can make out,theres a lot of Diamond influence in that head mate

i would say you have been correctly told your snake,is 50% Diamond-50% Jungle

could you please try and get more pictures mate,as i'd love to see more of your guy

i find that carpets do most of their growing in their 3rd year mate

imo by the end of the 3rd year,you will have an idea of how large they will be as adults
