Maui x Miami 2021-2013

Tried pairing these two last year, they were both virgins, and got all duds, a few with full vein structures and everything but no fetuses ever developed. Had been worried that there might have been something wrong with one of the pair and one of their first eggs this year was that way as well, looked fertile to begin with but never developed. However, the other egg from that clutch just hatched! Have four more eggs so far from this pairing and will be posting pictures of all of the hatchlings from this pairing in this thread.
First the Dam, Maui.

And the first baby to hatch. The egg was on the small side, so was unsurprised that this little one is the smallest hatchling I've ever had, weighed 1.5 grams.

One of her second clutch hatched last night! Then the second one was out when I got up this morning. Few minutes after I got that one settled in, one of Cairo's had hatched as well! Still waiting on that one's sibling. Only got pictures of the one who hatched last night though, couldn't get the camera working this morning so it will have to wait for my husband to fix it. Anyway, here is MxM-10-17-12, who needs a name still. I'm doing a gemstones theme.

WOW!! What would a Crested of these caliber sell for?

Cresteds are such a subjective market. The name of the breeder and the bloodline can add anywhere from $20 to $200 to an individual animal. Then age and gender, sexed or unsexed plays a big part. But a nice decent unsexed Harley like this would usually go for between $40 to $90. I usually ask about $60 for ones like this.

These pictures just didn't quite capture the cute moment but I walked into the reptile room and saw one of the new babies in this funny position staring really hard at his Daddy about 10" across from him and a bit further down. Didn't have the right lens in, part of what made it so interesting a scene was the radical difference in their sizes that I couldn't get. But here are the pictures anyway.

Yeah, I put 2013 because last year my female laid eggs quite far into the year and some of them didn't hatch until a month or two into the new year. But they didn't do that this time. Probably going to give both girls this year off though.

I haven't really decided on each individual yet. Most likely between $50 and $75, but I don't sell them until they are at least 5 grams, especially if I'm going to ship them. Topaz weighed 3.2 grams a few days ago, although if he had a tail still, he probably would weigh around 4 grams.

Well, the two crestie girls had the year off but Maui hasn't completely gotten the message and laid a clutch with two fertile eggs that should be hatching soon from last year's pairing with Miami and then laid one fertile and one infertile about a month later.
