View Full Version : Handled a red tail today
Handled my friends red tail boa today - it's the first snake (other than my BP) that I've properly handled. She was still a juvenile but My Oh My, she was gorgeous!
A little bit different to my Ball python in that she was quite active, curious, but also pleasantly docile. She was about 2 feet.
Wow... now I want one. It's not going to happen tho.

Oh No! If you contracted boa fever it will happen ;)
It's true, I held a pastel bci at a show and tell awhile back, and 3 months later, I got this beaut.

my cousin's got a BCI, gorgeous little girl named Rosaline - nicknamed Rosie for the bright bright red on her tail. She's a little older than Valentine, and she's now well over 4 1/2 feet (I've only seen her once since they moved out, and I didn't measure her) and about a half dollar (probably bigger) around. looked very healthy :)
I have no boa fever. Just ball python fever - so you may escape yet! Unlikely though. :P

Limey, was this boa a bci or a bcc?

You know, I'm not sure. How can I tell which it is? Is there a way to know?
