How often?

Another question for you all. How often do they go poo? Is their pee and poo combined like when a bearded dragon goes. Or do they do it seperately?

the HARD WHITE pellets you find, are urate's (urine)

the brown hard,dry/wet pellets,or slimey brown sludge is poo

my carpets have NO set pattern,as to when they poo

How often they "go," depends on age, prey size, frequency of feeding, etc. It varies from snake to snake.

species makes a big difference in my opinion. anacondas go ALOT, everyday. Retics go moderatley. more than i'd like sometimes but not bad. the best in my opinion is BCIs,BCCs. They tend to go once a week sometimes more for the larger specimins. But the less often they go, the BIGGER the poop.

And sometimes they go #1, 2 at the same time, sometimes seperatley.

You guys are funny... like clockwork every morning; my gf on the other hand is quite the opposite. My snake poops and pees get documented. Sometimes they just go number 1. Sometimes just number 2. Other times they go number 3.

It takes them a few days to digest. And different species digest differently. Some animals can be pretty regular and some aren't. Some go about 3 days after eating and some can hold it for months (bloods) without any problems.

I wouldn't worry about how often your animals goes as long as there's no signs of constipation.

And the bigger the animal, the bigger the poo. My burms aren't even full grown and can put alot of dogs piles to shame :eek:

They poo as often as you feed leads some to believe that for every feed there is a poop. That's just not correct but that's how it sounded.
