The enclosure for my 5ft RTB has a built in sink that is plugged up and filled with water. It helps with soaking, humidity, and drinking water. When she's too hot she'll soak herself.
Well, we all know the kind of effects soaking can cause, right?
I've noticed that my boa's been defecating in her pool the past few times she's had a movement. I thoroughly wash/scrub/rinse the sink, but I'm worried if her actually BEING in the soiled water could have an impact on her health?
She'll usually chill in the water for a few days, then I'll come home and find her up on her top shelf hide and a large pile of feces/urates on the bottom of the sink. Is is something to be concerned about? If she does this while soaking, does it pose any threat to her if she's in the dirty water?
