Black Spots?

My RTB is otherwise healthy and alert. But, recently I noticed these black spots on her that I can't quite recall seeing before.

Her substrate is cooked to remove mites and I've yet to see any on her or burrowed below her scales.


Are these spots typical, or should I be concerned?

I first noticed them on her head but later noticed some along her body. I can't say I've noticed a sudden appearance of them, but I definitely am noticing them now. Have I just overlooked this detail to her design, or is this something to be looked at?

Looks like speckling to me. It's wierd how your just noticing, had he shed recently?

I'm not the most observant guy around. But I do remember having her out one day, a few months after I got her, and thinking "What's with the spots?"

She's actually about to shed. She hasn't shed for a month or two and has been getting darker and soaking herself more.

My little baby bci had some similar speckling. And no mites

Thanks everyone. I just wanted to check on here. After all she's my first snake.:) and I already know she won't be my last lol
