I took some photos of these very special little adders a day or two ago and thought I'd share them with you guys.
Unfortunately they are becoming quite rare over parts of their distribution because of illegal collecting and smuggling for the trade overseas.
I'm not sure how common they are in the USA so feel free to ask anything you'd like to know about them.

@BarelyBreathing, she's eating a Cape skink. The ones from Namibia (as above) do best when fed lizards instead of pinkies.
How common are these in US collections ?

Very cool photos!
Very nice! I've seen these for sale, ocasionally; mostly imports with fairly high prices. I wish more of the dwarf Bitis species were available over here. Bitis cornuta is one of the coolest looking snakes in the world, in my opinion.

It's a pity that they aren't as freely available in the states as I previously thought. Maybe they'll be in the near future if all the breeding projects pay off.
