Wasnt too sure where to put this, but decided as the majority are venomous snakes, I would put it here :) Please move it, if needed.
Anyway, while out in South Africa, I unfortunatly didnt get to see any wild snakes which was pretty gutting :( but I was really pleased to find this place!
Heres a select few of the photos I got while there, I have more on my FB account if anyone would like to see the rest :)

That baby croc is adorable!
What's the lizard that looks like it's wearing lipstick and making a kissy face? I don't think I've seen one before.
Out of the venomous ones, the viper is my favorite :)

Thanks for the comments! I had a greeat time there, spent ages looking around haha.
I think the Puff Adder was my favorite, seeing as they're one of my favorite snake species anyway :D
Rogue628, is it the last lizard? 2nd photo in last post? If so, its a Plumed Basilisk, otherwise known as the Jesus Christ lizard :D

What is that spiky lizard, under the tegu picture? It's cute. I also like the burmese pythons, although I didn't notice the albino until my third or fourth look..

They were amazing! I was staring at the big female for aggges and then noticed there was a male in there too! And the small Gabby in one of the photos was one of their offspring :)

Now you've got me... I honestly cant remember. Hopefully someone here might no :)
The Burms were really cool!
Awesome pics. How was SA as a holiday spot? I've always been interested in the place. I've met a few people from there and they've all been really friendly and interesting people with really cool accents.

Thank you!
I really enjoyed my time in SA. I stayed in a place called Durban which is quite a built up place, but had nice nature reserves etc.
It was quite daunting at first, but after about a week, I felt quite at home.
Id love to go again, but visit Cape Town and the Kruger park.
Weather was awesome, especially seeing as it was just coming onto their winter!
All the people seemed quite friendly! Though some areas looked quite spooky but you get that everywhere you go.
Ummm, so yea, its an amazing place! Id definatly recommend it :D
Baby gabs have to be one of the cutest things on the planet, I want to see a baby rhino viper now :D

The lizard in question is called a Sungazer or Giant gridled lizard (Cordylus giganteus). You were pretty spot on there *Don't Mind Me* !
They're a protected species (on the red list) and in real danger of becoming extinct if development and illegal harvesting continues (in my opinion).
As for S.A as a holiday destination, I would recommend coming over anytime ! Do yourself the favour and google a couple of these:
1) Drakensberg, valley of a thousand hills, South Africa
2) St Lucia, Kwazulu-natal, South Africa
3) Clifton, Mnandi Beach and Bikini Beach, Cape town, South Africa
4) Magwa falls,Eatern Cape, South Africa
5) Richtersveld national park
6) Kgalagadi transfrontier park
7) The cradle of mankind...to name a few !
For the less adventurous visitors I'd sagest:
1) Suncity resort (check the palace hotel out)
2) Garden route
3) V&A Waterfront (Cape town)
Please let me know what you guys think haha...I hope I didn't go overboard ?
Regards
Louis.
