wierdest thing with cassie

So today when i was getting ready to feed cassie i grabbed her water dish and on the way back she usually runs into her burrow because shes scared... today she just stood there flicking her tounge and when i was coming back she kind of tripoded and tried to look at me. So i said wow shes making progress. i put my hand in the enclosure to get her to lick and smell me and stuff like i always do, And she just starts climbing on my hand trying to get on my forearm! Im still in shock haha so pumped! My savannah monitor is actually starting to trust me! Im going to be making a hip harness and take it to the next step. heres a pic of beauty <3

Oh, to have a pet that liked me is almost too much to dream.....maybe if she just acknowledged my presence that would be a beginning! Lol
