I think anacondas are very cool snakes and had a yellow baby in the past that I was babysitting for a pal and he's was pretty cool just really shy...greens are awesome looking animals but too big for the space I have to give right now but there's not much threads about them so if you got them post them and talk about them!!! :D

Both Greens and Yellows are awesome. I wouldnt mind having a Yellow but I know I will never have one since they are illegal here. Greens are probably too big for me to handle anyway, and yes, Greens are illegal here as well. I love the way they look though and I was able to handle a Yellow once before. He was so chill on my arm. :)

i know they're ALOT more shy and timid then other snakes especially the one i babysat for the bit of time she was a yellow and as soon as i took her out she will bite if i took her out in a fast motion but if i was really slow with the way i took her out she was more calm and she was highly alert and very cautious but curious aswell. what is keeping annies like and how does yours react to you and handling? also how do they spend they're days? are they very active?

Mine i can move him and do just about anything to him as long as he in the cage. If i get him out i have to make sure nobody else is with in 10 feet and that they don't move around. He as to be wrapped around my arm to feel safe. If i put him down he freaks and tries to escape gets in the flight or fight mood. If you check out my thread on him you'll noticed in like 90% of the pictures he wrapped around my hand. All handling outside the cage has to be done early morning. When he in a mellow mood. Basically i handle my Yellow just like my Bloods. Just like them he very insure and spooks easy.

Spend part of his day laying around. Once in a blue mood he'll take a soak usually about mid day. He does climb around quite a bit. Him and my male Jungle x Jag are both 10 more active than any of my other snakes. Any time i walk into the snake room he pops his head out to take a look. Like my Bloods his eyes never leave me.

^^^love the color coordination! :)

all i can say on this thread is that the green anaconda is probably my all time favorite snake... ill NEVER have on, or even think of getting one. but ill look at pics of them all day, and watch videos all night.

if any one has some greens, please post them up!! (if OP is okay with that)

i see videos on youtube about them, but usually people on there only have them as babies, and you never see adults :(

Don't they eat busses and boats and stuff and ruthlessly hunt humans, sometimes regurgitating them just for the thrill of eating them again? I'm pretty sure I saw it on that movie with Ice Cube, so it must be true :rolleyes:

I know none of them post much. You don't see many people with adults. You don't really see any over 12 feet in captivity or at least that people post pictures of. One one site i came across someone who had a pair of adults swimming in a kiddie pool. I'll see if i can fine the pictures.

Mean time here's a picture to make you droll. Picture and snake belong to Ben Renick.

Here's another one for you and a funny video. Nothing like a big anaconda about nailing in the junk to make you pay better attention. lol
