They do not look like the mom...she has this wierd lavender thing going on.She was very yellow as a baby..not like these guys at all.
I assume its the het snow that is making them look more like sunglow:cool:
Here's some pics of the double het snows.

Do you know anything about the albino genes? The male albino I am buying really has some popping orange in it. It is from orange tail stock I believe.
Is he a sharp albino? Sharps are brighter most of the time. They hold the red/orange in their tails.Kahl line fades over time. Not all of them, but most do.

Sorry Man.Its early and I am not awake.
If he is from true orange tail stock he should be small as they are pure central american stock.Male top out at five feet.
Alot of people are calling sharps orange tail..which they are not.
Hense the rambling in the above post.....still might be a sleep:p

No he is kahl. He is a sibling to a moonglow and sunglows. They were all in the same litter. I wish I could post pics but I can't from my phone. Now he has faded a since birth. I will ask the breeder on that orange tail info again.

OH! so they lay there eggs inside them and give live birth?
Yes and no. The embryos develop in a sac that is more like a membrane than a hard shell egg.
