View Full Version : A Sad Mystery
I was just cleaning out my BP enclosure and reached for the 5 gallon plastic cage I put them in while Im cleaning. As I opened it I noticed something in the bottom, which was weird as I always clean everything after Im done. When I looked closer this is what I found. I felt terrible, the poor little guy had obviously dried out. But here is the weird part, I have never owned any reptile like this! Im guessing its a young anole, and my best hunch is that maybe it hitched a ride with something else from the petstore (I just bought some driftwood), or even less likely from the plant shop (I recently got a new fern and a new pothos). It sucks to lose an animal, even if I didnt even know I had it.

It was probably the plant shop. Very good chance it came on that. Lots of spiders and such end up coming in on shipments.

That's creepy. I would have wigged out thinking it was a joke wondering where it came from...

That sucks. Poor little thing.
Ya, I think you're right Aaron. Ive only ever gotten feeders from the pet store, so it's pretty unlikely it couldve come that way without me noticing. One of the plants I bought was a large ficus tree though, I would've never noticed it on there.
