So my pair of RTB's decided to not eat for a while. Well tonight I noticed a lot of searching going on from both snakes so I put my male in my spare enclosure aand thawed a couple rats. Talk about a complete 180. My female hit the door of her enclosure when I walked past with the rat in the feed dish. She was ready to go. Her typical feed was 10+ min of squeezing followed by another 10 min of looking it over and then about 6-7 more to pack it back. Today. 2 min squeeze no check and 5 to put it back. Wow she was not interested at all a week ago. My male just..... ate. Nothing to post about other than he to shrugged off a meal last Saturday.
So far no 4 month wait or anything. For now anyway.

Glad they ate for you! It feels so good when you figure out what makes them click hm? :)

That's great news. :)
I wish my snake would decide to eat! It's stressful when they won't, isn't it? It's been about 3 months since mine ate...maybe the hunger bug is catching? I hope?

I think they are taking a break from"clicking" if you know what I mean ;)
Just glad it wasn't months of worry. If our female becomes gravid though I get to do it all over. I told myself constantly that its common but you still worry. You ask yourself daily " are they looking thinner?" "when will the eat again?". You try not to stress but it happens. I tell you I'm going to burn in a nice ulcer when she delivers for the first time.
Always great when the fast is over. Glad they're eating again!
