Very nice, Strutter!
Thanks Cliff! Rainbows make it easy to capture good pictures. Next time, I might even clean my lens a little before snapping off any shots! :pissedoff:
Why not snap off a new one now so we have a better picture :) LOL

I'll see to arranging that. They ate Monday so it should be pretty safe to get them some more "ops!" Now that we know who coined the phrase, I feel obligated to use it more. Haha

Finally, last but certainly not least, I give you, Ms. Andi:
Cool. I didn't realise how small she is until I seen the picture with you hand close to her. Very nice colour in her.

Thanks, Jimi. Cici is the eldest with a June birthday, Andi in August and Minnie was born in September.

All very nice! Underneath that plant seems to be a popular hangout place for them. ;-)
Out of curiosity, did you quarantine, and what are your plans with them?

I must confess, I did not quarantine. Please don't beat me up for that! (Sorry rainbowsrus!)
My plans are to find a really handsome high orange make, and an additional pair eventually. (At minimum, I would like the other male to be striped, or something equally interesting. Perhaps he'll be another Pearl phase. That'll give me 2.4, so hopefully I'll be able to produce 2 litters a year to start, then of course I can build my collection via holdbacks etc..
Do you see anything different than what you might do to start your first breeding project? I'd love to read some feedback!
Thanks,
Roy

Btw, that ivy is the best "snake holder" I have ever used! They (individually of course) all investigated all the area under that ivy, but would only.peek their heads out from under. Gave be some unique shots I think.

I should pick up some of that fake Ivy for my tubs, seems like something the smaller guys would feel more comfortable in.

I have plenty of matural hides (moss piles, etc.) and came up with the ivy idea last night to occupy the girls as I added new Sphagnum and natural ZooMed moss. They all seemed pretty inquisitive about the new stuff!

If they are your first snakes and all came from the same seller, it's not as big a deal...but it's a habit you should certainly get into. Three to six months is standard.

Striped will be tough. It's not a proven morph yet. There are several breeders working on it, but it's not as far along as the side patterns are (which themselves are not yet nailed down).
Pearl is more likely.
I personally go for color first, pattern second. So take stock of what you have now, and choose an unrelated male with either similar color (if you want to specialize) or a different color (of you want to diversify). *If* it has an unusual pattern, that's a nice bonus...but I would not place a huge priority on it.
Good luck!
