Why not a Chocolate theme for Valentines Day?
Chocolate colored snakes or snakes in empty chocolate boxes (i am excited about having to eat the chocolate first :) )

I kinda like the idea of a single colour backdrop Kim, no gimmicks, no props just our snakes, but I'd say any colour. Whatever brings out the best in your snake.

lol that's cute. Def have to eat the chocolate first. lol my guys have been crawling all over dead rats and sitting in their own poop (sometimes it happens)!

So, going with the colored backgrounds...Feb should be red or pink, march green, april..uhm (april showers bring may flowers?) may flowered? lol...i ran out.
