wow - not quite sure what is going on .. lol

This photo was taken during the day...they were just sleeping. Sometimes they cluster, sometimes they line up, at others they sleep far away from one another.

Sometimes, while hanging upside down like bats, they look and move gently something like a pupating butterfly...makes me wonder if they aren't mimicking a toxic species' cocoon when they do that. At other times they pull the dead leaf routine, or stretch out to match the elongated leaf they may be sitting on....
